Kyushu pancake mix is a special mix made with rice powder, it is said to have a very soft texture that doesn’t crumble! There’s also a slight hint of rice flavor. It makes perfect sense that this rice based pancake mix would boom in Japan, Taiwan, and expanding to other countries in Asia!
Presentation of Top Notch!
Japanese food, from sushi to ramen, has really put an emphasis on elegant presentation. These pancakes are certainly presented well, they even do a good job with kid’s meals!
Blending of Western and Asian Styles
Much of the success has been attributed to the rice mix used to make these unique pancakes. however, Kyushu Pancake Cafe has also been creating their own unique items blending other flavors like green tea, condensed milk, avocado, and even shrimp!
Modern Exterior
The outside of Kyushi Pancake Cafe looks very modern, clean, and a hip place for young people! Not many American pancake houses that have adopted a hip or “modern” interior or exterior style.
The atmosphere of any restaurant is important!
